These general terms and conditions regulate the relationship between the landlord of furnished houses, Domaine de Gigan and the tenants. These terms and conditions apply to the website www.domainedegigan.com. At the address “Route de gigan 1398, 47260 Coulx, France”

Article 2

Description of the services

The tenant may not sublet.
French law applies.
The holiday home can only be reserved with an advance payment. This advance is 30% of the full amount.
The deposit is paid when booking the stay.
The guarantee is paid on the day of arrival. The guarentee is refunded within two weeks of the tenant's departure if he has fulfilled all his obligations
The deposit for the small gîte is €300 and for the large gîte €500.
If the full amount is not paid on time, the landlord reserves the right to further rent out the property. The full amount must be paid 30 days before the start of the rental. In case of cancellation, the tenant has lost his advance of 30%. If the cancellation is made within 30 days before the start of the rental, the full amount will be charged.
The tenant must use the house as a good family man. This means, among other things, that the objects that are part of the household goods may not be moved, that the internal regulations must be respected and that damage must be reported immediately to the landlord.
The number of persons allowed to enter the house is determined either by the number of beds or by formal indication. Under no circumstances may the number of persons be exceeded.
The landlord is not responsible for damage to the personal belongings of the tenant (e.g. car damage in severe weather).
The landlord is not responsible for accidents (e.g. slipping by the pool, falling down the stairs, ...)
Check-in is from 4 pm or it must have been discussed differently with the landlords. You can check out until 10am or it must have been discussed differently with the landlords.
Animals prohibited in the gîtes.
There is no smoking in the gîtes.

In connection with corona:

If you have already paid the full amount and there is no possibility to come to us due to a travel ban; then you get your 70% back and we keep 30% (the advance). You can still book a holiday with us in the next 18 months. We will keep the 30% and will be deducted from the amount with a subsequent booking.
